Żabka Polska S.A., an all-Poland company, is present on Polish market since 2000. The company owns the biggest and the longest-operating network of convenience stores branded Żabka. For 10 years of its existence on the market, Żabka has changed the nature of Polish retail. The network of Żabka stores follow state of the art and innovative retail concepts, aimed at enabling convenient shopping to its customers. They are expressed in the strategic network principles: close, fast, and convenient.

The network of Żabka stores presently consists of about 2 thousand outlets, open 365 days a year between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. To meet the changing needs of consumers they offer carefully selected products of leading brands. Żabka stores also offer a range of services branded Zielone Okienko (The Green Window) enabling customers to pay their bills, recharge phone credits, buy numerical games or lottery tickets offered by Totalizator Sportowy (Polish State Lottery), and to withdraw cash up to PLN 200 due to the cash-back service.
The achievements and the potential of Żabka Polska were recognised and appreciated by Penta Investments - a Central European investments group, the owner of 100% of the company shares from 2007. New owner continues company policy and development strategy of further progress of the convenience store format in Poland - until the market has been fully saturated.
The unique business model of Żabka stores developed on Polish soil has recently proved itself in the Czech Republic where now over 40 Żabka stores have been launched. By the end of 2009 another 100 stores will have been opened in the Prague.
