Minor bill payment is a standard service available in all Żabka stores, enabling the payment of ongoing monthly electricity, gas, rent, or phone bills.

What differs Żabka from any other networks offering similar services is the security of transactions guaranteed by Generalli S.A. Insurance Group, safeguarding every payment made by customers in Żabka stores.

The payment of bills in Żabka stores is also facilitated due to the Customer Identification Card (Karta Identyfikacyjna Klienta ? KIK), which the customer receives upon filling in the registration form. KIK allows a significant acceleration of entering payments in the system. The KIK card is identified when the bar code is scanned and data entered in the registration form allow a speedy communication with the customer in case of problems with the processing of transactions (e.g. errors in the account number).


 

Payment of bills in Żabka is cost effective since the average commission per bill amounts to PLN 1.49. This allows a few PLN?s savings monthly and the lowering of costs paid annually from the family budget.

How are payments processed in Żabka?

You pass the shop assistant your active KIK card and all bills; the shop assistant checks the validity of the card and enters the bills into the system. You receive a receipt containing all information about the transactions and a confirmation of your payment. Your payment is registered in the system and managed by the Central Headquarters of Żabka Polska S.A. The money is transferred to the bank account and forwarded to the accounts indicated in your bills. The transaction is finalised by Żabka Polska S.A. within 3 working days from the moment of your payment at the counter in Żabka.

 

What payments cannot be made in Żabka stores?

Żabka cannot process payments to tax authorities and public or legal liabilities payable to relevant state or local authorities. In the same way, it cannot process payments of social insurance premiums (ZUS), property or personal insurance premiums (OC, AC).

 

What is the commission collected on the payment of minor bills in Żabka?

The commission collected upon the payment of all bills amounting to less than PLN 500 is PLN 1.49*. This is one of the lowest rates on the market.
The commission collected during the payment of bills over PLN 500 is 0.3 per cent of the total bill value.
