Żabka stores are managed by franchisees within their own business activity based on the cooperation agreement signed individually between each franchisee and Żabka Polska S.A. According to the provisions of the Agreement, the franchisee sub-leases a fully redecorated store, stocked up with goods delivered within a deferred repayment scheme. Żabka franchisees also receive training in the company know how, with an aim of maintaining a consistent high standard of the network and a homogeneous internal and external image. By accepting the above principles, the franchisees are presented with an opportunity of attractive earnings depending on their workload and obtained results.

Any person who successfully undergoes our recruitment and training procedures and has necessary means to start his/her business activity may become our franchise holder.
Certainly. Those of candidates who successfully undergo our recruitment procedures are delegated by our Sales Partners to our training stores for a traineeship period. During the period the candidate receives information on the functioning of the store and responsibilities of the franchisee and may make a well-informed decision whether to join the network. After the introductory traineeship the candidate undergoes the company training where all prospective franchisees are acquainted with all obligatory procedures and principles for Żabka stores. The training includes a managerial training prepared and delivered by lecturers of Wielkopolska Szkoła Biznesu. Prospective franchisees receive a set of certificates required under Polish and EU legislation to conduct business activity (Health and Safety, HACCP, First Aid, Sanepid ? Sanitary and Epidemiological certificate). After the training the candidates undergo a paid practical traineeship supervised by the Trainer Franchisee, preparing them to independently run their Żabka stores.
The challenge of starting your own business usually raises many concerns and requires a considerable effort. For this reason, each new Żabka franchisee can count on support from the Macro-regional Manager, the Sales Partner and guidance from the most experienced Trainer Franchisees. Also in the course of further co-operation the franchisees? activities are supported by the Sales Partner and corrected, if required, to ensure proper operation of the store. Furthermore, franchisees are updated on ongoing and planned changes via the Intranet network. Our Trade and Marketing Departments safeguard the best possible conditions of functioning and expansion in the highly competitive FMCG market.
The first meetings take place in the Candidate?s city of residence and are carried out by the Sales Partner in charge of stores in the municipality and the Trainer Franchisee. The meetings aim at getting acquainted with the candidate and familiarising him with the principles of co-operation. A further stage is an interview with representatives of our HR Department in the central headquarters of Żabka Polska S.A. and psychological tests conducted by our HR consultant. The interview and tests take place in Poznań the same day. Upon obtaining the pass mark, candidates are furthered to theoretical and practical training sessions. After the training sessions are completed and the candidate?s own business activity has been registered, the new franchisees take over their respective Żabka stores. |
